These are a selection of photographs printed in an album given to J’s partner as an anniversary present. J has never modelled before and this was her first time in front of a camera in a studio. He was very pleased with the present as he had always wants photographs of J but never expected something like these.

We met one evening to discuss what she wanted and came up with a series of about 18 poses and sets which told a story and portrayed J in images designed to surprise, tease and delight her partner.

J’s review of her experience is: “Absolutely fab time, absolutely wonderful photographer, felt completely comfortable and at ease, after thinking I was going to be really nervous! – And the finished product is stunning… A massive confidence boost. If you fancy spending a day or a couple of hours having a laugh, feeling good about yourself and come away with something beautiful – I highly recommend John Wood”
