These are some of the photos from a shoot with model Amba-Rose which was to build up our portfolios. We were aiming for creative and original photographs as well as trying out different effects eg smoke machine. We did this on location and used the portable studio.

Phil Wood was the 2nd photographer / assistant as well as contributing to the ideas and planning.

Berkshire Model Fashion Photo Shoot – Alice Luker, Ascot

Surrey Model Katherine Jane Photo Shoot

These are some of the photos from a shoot with Surrey model Katherine Jane to build up her portfolio. They were shot using the portable studio in Ascot, Berkshire. We were aiming for tasteful and sensual photographs with a little twist of fun.

The makeup artist was Gini from TrulyColours based in Reading Berkshire. She worked quickly and efficiently, contributing as appropriate with ideas and suggestions.

Artistic Fine Art Nude Model Test Shoot

This was a test photoshoot for a fine art nude shoot and we were both delighted with the results.

We were looking for sensual photographs which were discrete and tasteful. We tried a number of different poses to see which ones worked best as well as trying different expressions to see which best suited the model.

We hired a conference room in a hotel and used the natural light from the windows in different ways to create a variety of soft and dark shadows.

Fine Art Portrait Photography Berkshire – Alice Luker Model Ascot

I love creating beautiful fine art portraits and taking photographs that are ideal for professional publicity and are perfect as presents for close friends and distant relatives.

These are some of the photographs from a photoshoot with two photography students; Alice was the model and Maria was my assistant photographer.

We produced both fashion and portrait photographs using dramatic lighting effects and poses. Some photographs where taken as ‘implied nude’ so that there were no distractions from clothes, leaving just the model, her hair and the lighting to create the picture pure and simple.

Berkshire Studio Lighting Training Photo Shoot Results

Studio Training in Berkshire Training was provided on
a) basic camera speed and apperture settings in a studio
b) practical demonstration of direct, umbrella, softbox and beauty dish light modifiers
c) placement and settings on remote controlled Elemental strobes
d) how to set and balance the studio lights using a strobe flash meter
e) lighting effects on backgrounds

General guidance was provided as the photographer became used to the camera, the lighting and directing the models.

Alex Hasler (left) was the makeup artist and hair stylist on the day.

Below are a few photographs that I particularly liked from the training day which I have edited with Photoshop.
